I currently am living in a place where; it's not safe to take your garbage out past dark. I am expecting a little one 12/01 who sorta snuck up on me. I am currently single because I refuse to promote domestic violence to my young Son. I have tried all avenues of help to get back to Virginia, that is where my protective order and child support and remainder of family living resides. It's not safe for me to live in Prince George's County where woman are being killed every day just for not wanting to continue a unhealthy relationship. It is very difficult for me to save moneys' to move and continue to survivie my Rent is 900$ my Daycare Expenses are 600$ a month my trasportation back and fourth to work is a total of 86$ monthly; so it's quite difficult to SAVE and still live. Those expenses don't even include food + clothing + or personal hygeine products for myself or my 2 year old Son. Yes, I do get a support of 381$ monthly from his father which you tell me where that would possibly HELP with? I never knew how hard it was to be a single mother, my mother was one but I never saw the struggle never knew the pain; today I can honestly say that it's no cake walk nor is it a good feeling to know that you're doing all you can do work wise and still noone can meet you half way or even direct you to where you could possibly get any HELP. I would hat to go back to a Shelter, I was there once with my Son at 3 - 7 mths it was tough, trying, lonely, and not what I would call the most sanitary places for a new baby, but the safety of myself and child depended on this place. I would like to be moved back to the Commonwealth of Virginia before the new baby arrives, where there is funds to help a woman or person in my situation. This is a cry for HELP a plea for direction and more importantly a better LIFE for my children and Self. I would appreciate any advice any donations any encouragement for this is a load that is becoming to heavy for me to bear alone.
